UP Scholarship 2025-26 Form- Apply Online

UP Scholarship is a scheme, where scholarship is provided by the Government of UP for the students who are studying in Class 9-10th (Pre Matric),11th-12th (Post Matric Inter) & Post Matric other than Intermediate students. Every year by the Government of UP, scholarships are provided for the students. The Scholarship Amount for different classes is different. For the available Scholarship which are provided by the Government of UP, Students have to apply the online form at UP Govt. Scholarship Portal which is https://scholarship.up.gov.in/ . There is no any percentage Criteria for the students to get scholarship, but the instalment is sent to the account of students from upper percentage criteria to lower percentage criteria.

OTR (One Time Registration): – UP Government has been made OTR (One Time Registration) mandatory for new session 2025-26.

UP Scholarship 2025-26 Form: Eligibility Details

  • The applicant must be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh (UP).
  • The student must be currently enrolled in a recognized school, college, or educational institution in Uttar Pradesh.
  • Pre-Matric Scholarship is available only for students studying in Class 9th and Class 10th.
  • Post-Matric Scholarship is open for students of Class 11th and Class 12th.
  • Students who are pursuing graduation, post-graduation, diploma, or any other higher course (except 9th–12th) can apply under the Post-Matric Other Than Inter Scholarship category.
  • The Aadhaar card must be linked with the student’s bank account to receive the scholarship amount.
  • Applicants must have passed the previous year’s examination to be eligible for the scholarship.

  • Class 10th Marksheet
  • Class 12th Marksheet
  • Last Qualifying Exam Mark Sheet
  • Aadhaar Card linked with the registered mobile number
  • Bank Account linked with Aadhaar Card
  • Income Certificate
  • Caste Certificate
  • Annual Non-Refundable Amount
  • Fee Receipt

Note: – Candidates have to attach the above documents along with the Hard copy of the Online Application Form.

For Renewal Candidates: –

  • Students who applied last year don’t need to fill a new form. They just need to renew their application by updating last year’s registration number using the renewal link.
  • They do not have to apply new registration, they will have to enter last year registration number and update their details
How To Apply UP Scholarship Online Form 2025-26
  • OTR: –  One Time Registration (OTR) is mandatory from Session 2025-26 for applying for schemes on UP Scholarship Portal Click Here for OTR Registration.
  • After successfully generation of OTR, OTR Number will be displayed as well as it will be sent to registered mobile number only after that student can apply for UP scholarship.
    • It is a three Step Process: –
      1. Mobile Number Authentication.
      2. Aadhaar e-KYC.
      3. OTR Number Generation
  • Registration: After OTR Students has to Register in Scholarship Portal with Name, Father Name, College & Mobile Number. The Registration number is generated after Successful Registration.
  • Filling form & Submission:
    • After Registration Students have to fill the form with their complete details. In this process all the mandatory information is filled by students with Income Certificate, Caste Certificate, Aadhar Number, Bank account Details and other all information. Students have to fill all the information very carefully.
    • Biometric Authentication, Verification and Forwarding from Institute: In this step form are Biometric Authenticated by the institute. After Verification form are forwarded by the institute.
    • Computerized Scrutiny: In this step there are computer scrutiny of all form.
    • Verification from District Scholarship Committee: 
    • Forms are Verified by District Scholarship Committee. In this Step Students Can Check their Status that forms are accepted or rejected.
    • Aadhar Based Fund Disbursement: This is final step of Form of students. All the Students which status are Verified & Recommended by District Scholarship Committee, Fund transfer through Aadhar based System. Scholarship is credited in bank account.
