Part 1: One-Time Registration (OTR)

(If you have already done OTR on the new ssc.gov.in portal, you can skip to Part 2)

1. Visit the Official SSC Website: Go to the official website: https://ssc.gov.in/
2. Click on ‘Register Now’: Select the ‘Register Now’ link on the top right corner.
3. Fill Basic Details: Provide your Aadhaar Number, Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Date of Birth, and Matriculation (10th) Exam details.
4. Contact Details: Enter your valid Mobile Number and Email ID (for OTP verification).
5. Submit and Verify: Submit the form and verify your details via OTP. You will receive a Registration Number and a System-Generated Password.

Part 2: Filling the SSC GD Application Form

1. Log In: Log in using your Registration Number and the Password created during OTR.
2. Navigate to the Exam: Click on the link for “Constable (GD) in CAPFs, SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination-2026.”
3. Fill Application Details: The system will pre-fill most data from your OTR. Carefully enter the remaining details:
   • Force Preference (BSF, CISF, CRPF, etc.) – Be very careful with the order of preference.
   • Choice of Examination Centres.
   • Ex-Serviceman/NCC details (if applicable).
4. Upload Documents: Upload your scanned Photograph and Signature as per the specifications (usually $20KB-50KB$ for the photo and $10KB-20KB$ for the signature).
5. Fee Payment:
   • Application Fee: ₹100/-
   • Fee Exemption: Women candidates, SC, ST, and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from the fee.
   • Pay the fee online using BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa/Mastercard/Maestro/RuPay Debit/Credit Cards.
6. Final Submission and Print: Review the entire form. Click “I Agree” and then “Final Submit.” Download and print a copy of your submitted application form for future reference.
